 April has been designated by US HHS Sec. Tommy Thompson as National Donate Life Month. Please join me in bringing organ and tissue donation awareness to the forefront of our nation's attention.

The waiting list of candidates for organ transplant is 80,831 as of today at 11:33am according to the United Network for Organ Sharing(UNOS) www.unos.org 

An average of 17 Americans die everyday awaiting lifesaving organ transplant. Our system has failed- we have an organ donation crisis in America. We at The Presumed Consent Foundation, Inc,  www.presumedconsent.org , propose a system of organ donation referred to as "presumed consent".

We do not want to take away choice, we want to honor "Your Choice First", and we want you to make the choice yourself, not burden your loved ones with making the choice for you when they are grieving your death.

We want to enforce your choice. We don’t want force anyone to be a donor against their wishes. We don’t want to allow someone to "over ride" your choice to donate your organs, bone, or tissue to save another person's life.
